Good gate for narrow openings

Good solid gate. This keeps our new pup out of an area he is not allowed to enter. He can crash into the gate, but the gate doesn't move. I would give another star if it was easier to open. You must raise the gate at the same time as you pull the top latch. We have other gates for wider doors that are easier to open than this one. The spring in this gate automatically closes the gate when you release it. (Nice feature as long as you don't get your butt kicked while using it.)
