Do you have a problem child? Worried about your husband straying too far from your website in the companies where his sexy secretary will be? Then this product is not for you! But if you have a pup who might need a little guiding "hand" to follow commands, look no further! The collar is very long and can be tailored individually. It was a bit difficult to understand how it works as my 16 year old unboxed it and immediately did something with the instructions. But who needs leadership, amiright? Be creative! Set your own rules! Anyway, there are 3 channels I think so you can control your neighbor's dog too. Seriously: decent range, but I haven't had to test it yet. I didn't really use it other than the vibration which was enough to get my pup's attention when he gets stubborn and doesn't follow his command to get in or out on the street. This is great for me because if he sees me coming towards him he will try to run away which can be dangerous (if he runs into the street) and teaches him that this is a game even though it is absolutely NOT a game. Make sure you know a little bit about shock collar training if you decide to use the shock part. This is my first collar from this manufacturer but I have used it in the past for boundary training (using sound/vibration as a warning at first) and later with my deaf rescue dog because the roads are dangerous if he can't hear my cry that way He stopped and I needed her to learn to take care of me and look to me for her (sign language) commands. When used correctly, it is an effective training method that does not require long-term use.
