Each piece is lightweight and just feels and looks good. The bristles on the brush - the tips are very fine and this is in contrast to my original brush which was made out of natural fibers but the bristles were really natural. They are really good and make a surprisingly fine lather with a good quality bar of soap; not even a shaving machine. The feel of a brush in my hand suits me. I have another one with the same bristles but it's smaller and lighter; I just love it. I noticed a contradiction in the description of the brush; in the product title it is referred to as badger hair and underneath it says "Pure Nylon Bristle Hair Shaving Brush". I don't really appreciate inaccurate listings; I believe it's nylon, NOT badger hair. I don't normally use a safety razor; I usually use one of those 6 or 5 blade razors, or if I'm too lazy an electric razor, but this one looks and feels so good I should have at least tried it. Not used to this type of razor, I had to work much slower than usual; If you're used to them, they probably aren't. When I use it, I have a comfortable feeling in my hands. The appearance of this set is very gifted; It looks so cool that I want to clean up the whole mess on the bathroom vanity so I can display it (but not today).
