My feet definitely don't even fit in size. One is 12 and the other almost 13. They are both wide. I can usually get away with a size 12 on most sneakers, but figured I'd go for ultimate comfort and expand this. I tried the 12s and they only fit my small foot but barely. My big foot was rubbing the fronts very hard. So I chose 12.5, which I don't normally do, but I did it anyway, honestly I didn't feel much of a difference. I've heard the ASICS are too tight but took a pair anyway just to see they're amazing, yes they're not an arrow but also no tighter than your regular running shoes and a size 12 fits great. The new balance sheet is too much like a guessing game. In addition, ASICS build quality surpasses the new balance.
