Review on 🔌 MICTUNING LED Light Bar Wiring Harness: Superior 2 Lead Design with 40A Relay, On-off Rocker Switch Blue, and Fuse Included by Matthew Guiney

This wiring harness was as advertised and was fairly easy to install. The switch looks and works well, and the overall length of the wiring harness is just enough to get where I need to go. My only concern is the size of the wire used. The listing in the title states a 40 amp relay (which it is) and the description states a load of less than 180 watts (which would be 15 amps). However, the wire size is 16 gauge. Most charts show that 16 gauge wire is rated for a 10 amp load less than 20 feet in length. Since this is a 10 foot strap and my load is 120 watts (10 amps) I should be fine. However, I wouldn't dare load this harness with more than 10 amps. Let me say again the harness looks well made and I am happy with the purchase. However, I would advise anyone looking to handle loads over 10 amps to look for heavier harnesses. (I believe the same company offers one and I wouldn't hesitate to go with them.)
