Review on 🧊 Revolutionary Defrosting Method: Microwave-Free Professional Defrosting System by Moe Gilbert

I've tried several different defrosting trays and this is the only one I have that was basically just a solid plate. Most have some sort of ribbing on the bottom to increase surface area and improve heat transfer. Most have some form of legs to allow room temperature air to circulate underneath, in turn aiding in heat transfer. It doesn't have any of that, just a flat block that sits flat on the countertop. Out of curiosity, I pulled several identical chops out of the freezer over the weekend, on Saturday I made a couple, on Sunday - another. The only difference is that on Sunday I put four lego 2x4 pieces under each corner to lift them up. And of course it thaws faster on Sunday. I don't know why they did it that way. It works, but it works better if you somehow increase it.
