Review on UCHIDA Technical Drawing Carded Brush Black by Jennifer Roberts

This pen is ideal for Chinese and Japanese calligraphy and sumi-ye drawings (on a small scale). The tip is very similar to a brush (though with a thick handle). Very black, dries very quickly and is very sensitive to changes in angle and pressure. Just two caveats: (1) they can bleed through to the other side of some papers and (2) make sure you always keep them closed when not in use - the ink dries very quickly if the cover is left open. . Also, I don't recommend putting it in your pocket or any other place where it hangs from a clip on the lid. I had one in my pocket dangling by the clip and the barrel fell out, smearing black ink everywhere and drying the tip.
