Review on Apexstone 22 5Lb Spring Support Shocks by Billy Ivy

EDIT: My purchase was made before the introduction of the "soft close" spacers that are now available. I have purchased lid stops that are not designed to close softly. Kudos to Apexstone for introducing the soft close variant. Original: They work great for their intended purpose. I wanted to buy a top hat so the lid on my daughter's toy box wouldn't break her arm. These don't work that way! (Oops) However, they are good at lifting lids, cabinet doors, etc! Just don't expect them to prevent the lids from closing. Watch the video and you will understand what I mean.
