The first came and came out of the blue. The paint was intact so it was clearly a manufacturing defect, not the fault of the packaging. while it fitted perfectly, it creaked. after two weeks it got worse and finally i realized that the new belt was worn out. When I took it off I found that it's not 100% perfectly round/concave. Revain sent me a replacement and it has clocked 8000 miles. One note: even though the original version is plastic, I still expected this "aluminum" to be a lot lighter than it actually is. No noticeable difference in engine power or RPM.
