🔧 Enhanced Performance Aluminum Water Pump Pulley by URO Parts - 11511436590PRM Review

Installed on my BMW as a replacement for the plastic belt pulley of the water pump. The handling was rough in places and I'm a bit worried about premature belt wear, but I'll keep an eye on the situation over time. The other strap also seemed to have some sharpness, so I'm not too worried. It's easy to install, but it would be nice if the mounting screws were included.

The first came and came out of the blue. The paint was intact so it was clearly a manufacturing defect, not the fault of the packaging. while it fitted perfectly, it creaked. after two weeks it got worse and finally i realized that the new belt was worn out. When I took it off I found that it's not 100% perfectly round/concave. Revain sent me a replacement and it has clocked 8000 miles. One note: even though the original version is plastic, I still expected this "aluminum" to be a lot lighter…

I actually had a crack on the original composite water pump pulley from the bolt hole to the rim when attempting the aluminum replacement to remove. I swear it now I'm working on replacing all my pulleys with aluminum as soon as possible as I just snapped two composites. Highly recommended if you can handle DIY projects! I used a BMW fan tool kit and still broke the composite kit. Would definitely buy again as a spare if ever needed. I can already say it's more durable than OEM. All you have to
