I chose this processor because of the dice function. This works well when slicing smaller, tougher vegetables like potatoes. If it's a fat potato, you'll need to cut it at least half as long or it will get stuck. If you cut the tougher veggies first, it will turn out great. I wanted to knock down a point for a grater. He does not grate like on a grater. It's more like small (shorter) Julian pieces than a grater. They are round, not flat. Although I actually like it - they look great in Slow.
