Review on πŸ”₯ ATOMSTACK A5 Pro Laser Engraver: 40W Cutting Machine for Wood & Compressed Spot CNC Carving DIY Master by Amanda Castillo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

First user and already in love with this car!

The use of the laser cutting process has been used in the engraving industry for centuries. Although there was a time when this hobby was quite expensive. Fast forward to 2021, now laser cutting/engraving has become much more accessible, fun and advanced, especially on a budget. This was my first laser engraving machine and I didn't know how it worked, how it worked or how to use an engraving program. Although to be honest I'm not exactly a computer newbie as I have previous experience with Adobe Photoshop and other image editors like this one. However, the world of laser engraving was new to me and even with my computer skills, it took me some time to learn and adjust this time. Can a good laser engraver cost less than $500? Yes. While $500 is a lot of money when it comes to laser cutters, it can seem a lot less, and the options available at this price point can make users skeptical. But let me assure you that the only difference between an expensive laser cutter and a cheap one like this model is the number of features available, not the performance of the machine, which after some testing was very impressive. The assembly was medium difficult. . The instructions were simple and clear enough to follow along with well organized small hardware packages. The main questions were how to put the frame together. There wasn't enough explanation and I found out the hard way to the end that my frame was assembled incorrectly and I had to disassemble and rebuild everything. Another tip: wait until everything is assembled and working as expected BEFORE cutting off the excess loose ends of the chain straps. If for any reason you make a mistake during assembly, it is beneficial to you to leave them uncut to help you redo part of the assembly. I also find that the included software is much easier to use than the famous LightBurn everyone uses for laser engraving. Automobile. I've never been able to engrave anything at all with LightBurn and the included program gave me amazing results straight away. Of course, that's probably just me and I need to spend more time learning this. However, LightBurn recognized the laser engraver immediately. So that wasn't the problem. Whether you want to engrave your own design on an iPhone case, create a custom leather wallet, or make your own wooden sign, the ATOMSTACK A5 Pro laser engraver will get the job done just fine. If you liked my review, found it helpful, or just want to support me, just click the Helpful button. Many Thanks. All the best. πŸ₯°

Pros
  • Ultra-fine compression and improved fixed focus: The output power of the CNC laser engraving machine is 5.5W. The ultra-fine focus range of the laser is reduced to 0.23mm^2. Not only engrave but also cut 1/2 inch in wood and acrylic; Without changing the focus during engraving, the new laser can simultaneously combine precise engraving and high-energy cutting. The performance of a fixed focus laser is more stable than that of a zoom laser.
Cons
  • Some mistakes
