This device is packaged securely in a small box encased in a plastic mold that keeps it in place. Instructions are included but may be difficult to read for those with vision problems. Even my eyes struggled to distinguish the posted screenshots to properly set up the device. I wanted to display my Switch on my iMac so I could record videos longer than 30 seconds, but I didn't want to spend a lot unless I'm a streamer or YouTuber where quality and durability are a requirement. The device won't connect or work, you need to download OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) and then follow the instructions that came with the device to set it up. I didn't investigate this further to see if I could use my iMac as a display more intuitively (OBS acts as a screen recorder). One thing to note, I wasn't able to play audio through my iMac, but recorded content from the Switch will play audio after playback. video after you are done. In general it works fine. No lags so far, at least it feels like it's on TV, but I'm not playing particularly intense games either. I only use it to record my Animal Crossing progress milestones.
