Truth be told, I don't know what I was thinking when I chose this to review. I thought this would just be a nifty thing to have around the house and it is. But after using this, it's really spruced up my place (mainly my living and kitchen areas.)Summary: If you have a nordic kitchen or a living room that's decked out in white decorations, this would be a perfect fit. Or if you want to gift your friends coasters, then use this.Pros:+ onyx marble (which is durable)+ looks elegant+ foam bottom won't slide around too much but also not a pain to move around in case you do need to move it+ packaged extremely carefully+ extremely water resistantCons:- onyx (as a type of marble) doesn't take too well to acidic foods and liquids so you will need to occasionally reseal like you would for your countertops- heat loss conductor so if you have something cold on it, the coaster will feel cold as well but marble typically feels cold anyway
