I bought this product as an alternative to Dynamat Xtreme because it was slightly cheaper and included Prime's one day shipping. I have already done interior and exterior trim on three doors with Xtreme but needed additional CDL to finish the fourth door. Up to this point I've been very happy with the project and was glad that my car didn't smell as strongly of butyl or asphalt as some of the products I've used in the past. It still had that nice new car smell. The addition of the Second Skin Dampifier changed all that. Although this product adheres well and is easy to work with, it has a very characteristic smell. It's been about a month and the smell hasn't gone away. That's the first thing I notice when I get in a car. The smell is so strong that I even got rid of the leftover tiles I had left for future use as that was all I could smell in the storage room. Do yourself a favor and spend the few bucks more on Xtreme or one of the many other unscented alternatives.
