The out of the box picture settings and how bulky this monitor is is why I give it 4/5 stars. This is a great monitor for brushing up from 60Hz. Being able to try 144Hz and then ramp up to 240Hz is a nice treat. As with many other monitor reviews, there are always complaints about color balance. I haven't messed with the color settings directly, but I did change the brightness/contrast settings on the monitor. As well as the "Gamma" setting in the Nvidia Control Panel. This helped a lot in getting a more balanced color on the monitor. No real problems other than a few hours of trial and error. This monitor is also equipped with a blue light filter that affects color and gives the screen a "warm" tint. The picture quality and brightness are very good for gaming or productivity or just watching a movie. It has all the features you would want from this monitor for a longer period of time and is very flexible in settings. Pros: 1. Good refresh rate options that work correctly.2. A good amount of settings to adjust colors and contrast to your liking. Disadvantages: 1. Heavy. This item must not be moved.2. The base stand is a little longer than I would like.3. The left-to-right rotation isn't a full 90. If it were, I would have more desk space with the base rotated sideways and the screen facing the front. Aside from some minor retrospective issues I mentioned, this will do the job really well. Just make sure you have a big enough desk and don't plan on moving that monitor.
