The out of the box picture settings and how bulky this monitor is is why I give it 4/5 stars. This is a great monitor for brushing up from 60Hz. Why would anyone think you can get anything better than something in the budget spectrum for this price point? pft1a.) Gamma setting for this monitor is incorrect. if you need a different setting than the default and want to switch between display profiles for different viewing conditions/scenarios. then you are in hell. Damn good monitor. All game modes ghost a little and it was too much for my eyes/brain, but with all of this disabled there really isn't anything good on the monitor to play Classic WoW. Good response time and amazing colors for a TN display, even out of the box (after turning off game mode) Oh, and not too bright at night either! Browsing through white pages on the web at night is a pleasure compared to my old Asus TN which was always too bright at zero brightness.

After 1 month the display port stopped working as noted by many other 1 star reviews. They sent an RMA, it was a lengthy process and a waste of MY time. After receiving the monitor, less than a year later, the display port is NOT WORKING AGAIN. Sonic makes TERRIBLE products. Don't buy anything from them.

The main features of this monitor are as expected, but what makes it totally unacceptable is the function buttons for customization. If you want to make changes, I strongly recommend that you take at least a week off. The keys are too small even for small people. Bought to play CS:GO and a few other games. I've loved it so far, 240Hz and 1ms response time really changed my aiming, especially when using a 60Hz TV. Ordered Friday morning, arrived the next day, well packaged. Picture quality/colors aren't great, but I bought it for performance, not picture quality.

I am very happy with it because my son is very happy with it. And he used to have a 4k gaming laptop. The terminal controls are a bit confusing, but you can connect using an HDMI port or a video port.

I've wanted to buy this monitor for a long time. When I started using it, I noticed slight halos. Not a big deal, maybe it's just a side effect of the 240Hz refresh rate. In less than 2 months the ghosting has gotten so bad that games are literally unplayable. Any movement on the screen just blurs the colors. The signal keeps dropping. The monitor worked perfectly out of the box. However, for 3 hours the monitor got stuck on a white screen that didn't change until the monitor was completely unplugged. I'm not sure if I was just unlucky, but it wasn't a very good experience. I will not blame Viewsonic for a bad monitor and plan to order another monitor from their company but if there are other issues I will update this review so everyone knows there is a quality control issue. with a sound perspective.

This monitor is amazing, with an insanely high refresh rate. beautifully textured, RGB (with an option to change the color of the RGB LED depending on what color you see on your screen. very versatile and highly recommended! BUY!

When I switch to HDMI all I see is a black screen. I have an HDMI 2.0 cable and it doesn't work. I've used many different cables and they all had the same result - black screen with sound. There is a signal but no picture. How to fix it?

I order for games. Came broken. I called and billed them for a replacement to be sent. The replacement was in worse condition and didn't work. Terrible quality! I had to wait for returns. The monitor is of very poor quality and not suitable for gaming. There is too much blue on the screen. Had to pay more for Asus but the quality of the brand is 1000 times better and most importantly it arrived working and undamaged.

This is a good monitor but at the moment the Xbox Series X will NOT display at 120Hz as it is an HDMI 2.1 port. Hopefully this will be fixed with a firmware update, but be aware that as of today 11/20/2020 you will no longer be getting this refresh rate on the Xbox x series or PS5. I still gave 5 stars because it's a great monitor and it's not their fault.

No dead pixels, no damage, like new condition. So let me say that so far I haven't had anything wrong or issues to be honest. Colors are crisp and footage is buttery smooth, G SYNC works 100%! I get 200 frames or more and no hiccups! :) I might get another one, who knows, but one thing I do know, you won't be disappointed with this gaming monitor. So just take this one. The shipping packaging was great, with the box's own built-in carry handle. I've been using ViewSonic for years and use this one with a PC. Died a few months later. A second identical monitor to go with it! I wanted a Gsync monitor and stopped there, expensive but I went for it anyway. A month later it started having crashing problems, on the 2nd it keeps saying "no signal". No it's not a cable, I use the same cable on another monitor and it works fine. Even after I replaced it with a brand new monitor, it still doesn't find a signal. He literally dies in a few months. Attention buyers.

After less than a month of hsing, the displayport is not receiving any signal and still picking up HDMI but not the displayport. My displayport from the GPU with the same cable works on other monitors so this is 100% bullshit. I thought I had a good deal, no, not at all. just trash
