Although the label says dry clean or hand wash, they are machine washable inside out, wash in cold water only and do not tumble dry. (I got this information from others who have reviewed this shirt and machines vary so use your own judgement). I ordered 6 for my grandson he was very big on him. (He usually wears a size 5/6.) He likes the colors and designs and doesn't remember trying it on so it's going to be a Christmas present and should fit him a bit better by then. The fabric is silky soft and seems very comfortable.
