Constant temperature maintenance

I use them in galvanized steel 8' x 3' feeders that contain lime saturated water to a depth of about 12 inches. The tanks are stock which is between 50 and 65 degrees. My heater is set at 73 degrees and has no problem maintaining that temperature. These heaters are immersed in lime water with a pH of 14 and have been able to withstand this harsh, corrosive environment for several winters. until now.
