Review on 🔍 Optimized Search: Reflective Dog Jacket by Casual Canine by Tiffany Powers

We bought the jacket for our 70 lb greyhound. It measures approximately 26 inches from shoulder to tail, falling between XL and XXL for most dog jackets. Pros: Works very well in our climate. We live in the mid-Atlantic (Appalachia) and the weather here can vary greatly in temperature. We took him to 30 degrees Fahrenheit in this coat and didn't see him tremble.- Looks very nice. We received many compliments while he was away and other pet owners have asked us where we got him from. Reflective strips reflect the light very well. Don't worry about not being seen! - Decent price. Cons: - It's a BIT cramped for our dog. It is about an inch from his tail and very close to his neck. He's not uncomfortable standing, but when he lies down, he gets snug enough to tug on the velcro. This makes it good for a walk, but not suitable as a housecoat for a dog his size. It fits freely around his chest, which is notable as greyhounds have extremely deep chests. As a result, it sometimes slides from side to side and looks a little wobbly. I've included a photo of him lying down and a photo of him standing up to give an idea of the fit. The still photo also gives an idea of how it looks when it slides to the side. I can't say how well the product holds up in the wash. I can't remember if we've washed it yet. So either we did it and it worked out well, or we didn't do it and therefore can't report. Overall we like the product but really wish there was a way to make it narrower and a bit longer. I thought a lot about whether to give 3 or 4 stars and finally decided on 4. I would give 3.5 if I could. Edit: forgot to mention we have XL. I'm pretty sure that while the XXL size would offer more thigh coverage and be looser in the front, it would also be big enough for my gray to use as a tent.
