I bought these to hang on a tapestry I bought to jazz it up and give it that extra "wow" factor. It looks lighter on the wrong side because it's too long and I just had to let the extra rows hang down and knit them together. I almost thought they were broken, although I was very upset. After hanging them all, I unfolded each row. *Make sure you don't do this beforehand or they will surely end up in a tangled mess*, they would be too long and would hang on our heads if I didn't cut them off as per the description, also a note : Make sure you attach them when they're not on. I had no problem cutting the first two to the right length, but then when I cut the third they stopped working. I tried reattaching the cut wire by twisting the ends back but that didn't work, tried unplugging etc, they were dead. Then ten minutes later I tried adding a few inches more cut it off and plug it back in and it worked, which I don't understand. I guess I just got lucky to be honest but they seem to be working fine now and I'm very glad. It's not a super white LED, which I personally don't like, it's a nice warm yellow/white color. Generally satisfied but was about to call. BE CAREFUL WHEN CUTTING THEM.
