I originally ordered this as a gift from qvc. Grandma liked it so much I ordered 2 more sets: Home and Mama. I use one that connects to a lamp in my son's room so I can turn it off if he falls asleep with the light on. I don't have to go in and risk waking him up. I also have one hooked up to a lamp in my bedroom. I can turn on the light when I go to bed and I can turn it off with the remote control from bed as the lamp is on the other side of the room. The third is connected to the lamp in front of the house. I can turn on the lamp when I hear a strange noise so I can see before I go to another room. It already has a battery. They're several inches long, so they need to be on the bottom connector. The price on Amazon is the best price and it comes with Prime. Recommend!
