Seems like a solid product but I haven't had a chance to see if they work. The good folks at Volkswagen decided to create a weird proprietary lighting outlet to make a simple maintenance task more complicated than necessary. I can only assume that this also applies to the more manual variants of the Golf. The GTI I'm talking about comes with standard halogen headlights. I asked a question and received an affirmative answer. Unfortunately I was disappointed. The return process has started. I should have known that when I opened the box, a liner would fall out warning that "different manufacturers" needed additional adapters. That roughly means I have to order these adapters, wait for them to arrive, and not be entirely sure that they will completely solve the problem. I am leaving for these reasons. This review started with two stars because I didn't feel comfortable they deserved one without even going through the install. I have now decided to give one star because while researching I posted my query and received misleading reviews. It's worse than saying nothing at all! That's why I say.
