The coil packs are great, aren't they? Replacing the distributor cap, and as long as they are easily accessible, they can be easily replaced. My Ranger has been having some issues lately and I knew the coil packs under the hood were most likely the original packs that came off the assembly line. It's time to change them. I placed my order with one click and two days later these little ones were waiting for me after I picked the kids up from school. The installation is quite easy. Basically you have to deal with four small screws and a wire harness clip. Here's my advice, and maybe the advice of smarter people who work on cars on a regular basis. Don't just start ripping these things out without noting or photographing the wiring order before you begin. If you install these things and hook them up wrong, the circus is going to have a bad day. Take your time, connect them one by one and you won't have any problems. On the other hand, have some dielectric grease on hand to ensure conductivity when you plug those bad guys in.
