good but not the best in automotive and automotive electronics

I installed the camera a few months after purchase. Installation wasn't a problem. The +/- power wires can go straight to the battery (hopefully never shorted) and the control wire can be routed under an accessory fuse. There was a small tool box under the seat to store everything. The cameras seem very sticky. The picture quality is not very good. If you're lucky you can see the license plate, but not always. The device records 100% of YouTube videos that look grainy and shaky. If you buy these you need to download the updated firmware otherwise you will find the camera not working after one or two uses. It's not hard at all, just know that it won't work properly until you do. Also think about where you place the cameras. I put one under the headlight, not considering how close it would be to the front fender if I had a bump. It didn't crash on my first ride, but I'll have to check it out. it's coming On the first test drive, the guy speeded on the interstate and ripped off the sign. He was a block away from me and I could barely see the video. There's enough here to take a close look and tell what happened, but I think my 10 year old GoPro would have made a better video. There are a few video settings in the app that you need to turn on if you want. It saves settings so you don't have to fiddle with them every ride. The Wi-Fi/Phone app works fine, but it streams videos at around 2MB/s, which is pretty slow. I did not try to connect the USB cable to the device. That would be nice, but I don't know if it works. I do not think so. When I bought it for about $180, today I see it on sale for about $120 and I think that would be a more reasonable price. It's like a $100 setup at best. But if it works without effort, then everything is fine and there is currently nothing better for motorcycles.
