The long broom was the main reason for buying it, as was the fact that it breaks easily and fits in a storage bag. It's easily worth getting the snow off the roof for that. However, the functionality of the ice scraper is woefully lacking. If you don't hold the ice scraper directly by the neck, it will have trouble removing the ice. As other reviews have pointed out, it's also very scratchy and mostly makes noise instead of breaking ice. Most cheap little handheld ice scrapers can scrape the ice better than this one. However my main use case is clearing snow off the roof of my truck and this gets the job done perfectly and I have a lot of ice scrapers so I won't call this product too tough for that. Also the bag and the fact that it breaks more than makes up for it!
