We've had this for 2 years and our dog loves it but I think it's time to move on. He's right, but that's all. I really don't think it offers enough protection in a real crash. It's got some nice design features for the money, a smart paw zipper, a very open look so your pet doesn't feel isolated, a couple of side pockets for storage, and the bed is washable and removable. But the main problems are related to the cheap flash quality. The zipper puller on the main door eventually came loose after being threatened for months, and the first slider didn't come loose only because it was stuck on one side shortly after receiving the item. You can actually bend metal on sliders with little effort.
