I had a leak this spring while sanitizing my 2007 Keystone Springdale camper. Water dripped from the black cap at the bottom of this valve whenever there was pressure in the water line. I've tried teflon tape under the black cap with no success. I was frustrated that you can't just swap out the cap and saw it as a more economical alternative to the Dometic branded part. Works like clockwork! The connection on the line to the toilet was a little smaller than the original part, but after tightening the metal clamp there is no more leakage on this line!
