2004 Toyota Sienna - Excellent

Bought for my 2004 Toyota Sienna Automatic with 220,000 miles. This is a great filter as you can see from the picture, it comes with a transmission pan gasket. Back then I didn't drop the gear pan for who knows how long. Aamco used to change the transmission oil at 185,000. They should have removed the oil pan and changed the filter, but they didn't and only changed about 1/3 of the transmission oil. I decided to take the 2004 Sienna to a local mechanic who changed the fluid and filter. I bought a crush washer (aka a gasket) from the Toyota dealer. I also bought 1 gallon Redline D4 ATF. (If you want to change the filter at the same time as you change the transmission fluid, I recommend buying 1 gallon Redline D4 ATF + 1 quart Redline D4 ATF) I took my van to a mechanic who replaced the ATF as well as the filter. The pan was very dirty due to metal particles collecting around the magnets at the bottom of the transmission pan. The mechanic cleaned the pan, replaced the filter and replaced the ATF. Now the van drives like a dream. Noticeable improvement in shifting, shifting is so smooth. What you will need: 1 - This filter 2 - Transmission oil pan bolt washer from Toyota dealer 3 - 1 gallon D4 ATF + 1 quart D4 ATF = Red Line 30505 D4 Automatic Transmission Fluid - 1 gallon 4 - Local mechanic
