Review on WESOPAN Deep Wave Hair Waver - Fast Heating Ceramic Beach Waver Curler with Curling Barrel and Crimper Hair Iron by Donna Armstrong

hard to get it right compared to other irons

starting with the best features of this iron. The heating element is encased in a plastic case, making it easy to use without burning yourself. I'm not sure why most deep waves these days have moved away from that, and now it's all this open, hot nature where one wrong move or flick of the wrist and you bang your neck, face, or arm with it burn. But not with that. So pleasant. That's probably one of the main reasons I chose this one. It's very attractive and stylish, with a nice swivel cord. It turns off after an hour, which is nice since I accidentally left it on earlier. Gives you peace of mind when you can't remember if you left it on after leaving your house which is great. as if they were a little cheaper on the wave plates. You really have to think about it every time and position it correctly because you have a wave and a half on each platter, not two full barrels on one side and a full barrel on the other side fitting between two on one side, which makes the process makes alignment easier as you go down the hair every time. But if you don't get it right, you'll straighten out the area where you tried to create the wave. And then it's hard to fix. I guess you get used to it and it might not be that big of a deal, but I didn't like it. I tried not to let it bother me, but it bothered me. Also, I didn't think it went as deep as I would like sometimes. The one I've posted here in the photo which is a bedhead shake gives you the option to go deeper by leaving it on longer and it also has hotter settings which this one doesn't have. This Wessopan iron I'm reviewing only heats up to 200 degrees. It definitely takes more time to do your hair. My new one, which is a bedhead, runs from 250 to 400 degrees. Much easier to use and faster. It's only half covered in plastic for some reason, but it has a plastic handle on the end to hold it when you need it. It's pretty good, I only had a small burn on the side of my face once. Pooh. How much would it even cost to add the other side of the plastic case? Serious. But I digress. I hope I can send this back. If not it's ok because it wasn't as expensive as my new bedhead and it will come as a last resort if my new one stops working for some reason. So this could be a fallback.

Pros
  • fingers crossed
Cons
  • sad hardware
