Review on YUEWO Leather Hand Shoe Repair Machine: Small, Heavy Duty 👞 Cobbler Sewing Machine for Expert Manual Sewing with Dual Cotton Nylon Line by Denise Davis

Good for motivated do-it-yourselfers. bad for everyone else

The style and finish of this item definitely makes this type of machine suitable for those who are willing to spend hours trying to figure out a problem and solve it. If you are not that type of person, this article, and frankly any similar article, is NOT FOR YOU. You would probably be better off saving and spending a few hundred dollars more for a well made and professional shoemaker sewing machine. Expect substandard workmanship and finishing on the machine itself. I definitely got it. MORE IMPORTANTLY, the machine itself works as expected. I've tried this a few times, including two 11 ounce pieces of leather, and this thing went right through them. I used to only work with dress fabrics and now I'm glad I can work with much heavier materials reliably! Yes it took hours of fumbling, yes the editing is pretty bad (I've done some edits in the past). But the machine works once you get the hang of it, and it comes with all the promised stuff in a VERY strong box. Despite the sturdy box, it was PUNCHED by a piece of metal, although the machine itself was not damaged. The car was well greased, THIS IS EXACTLY THE WAY YOU WANT IT! All those other comments complaining about too much oil are ridiculous, they WANT metals to be oiled so they don't rust when shipped across the pacific and then maybe stored in warehouses for years. Anyway I'll edit it a bit to make it more complete and post pics later
