Great for potty training
I already had a doorbell but it was Christmas and made of straw rope, fell apart. I stumbled across this and thought it was perfect. Since it was made with a leather strap. However, when I tried to unhook the latch to let the hinge hang, the latch broke, so I just tied a leather thong to the door. I didn't send it back, still working with leather that was supple and not stiff. My older dog already knew how to ring a bell, had a puppy and learned it at 3 months.
