The quality did not meet my expectations. They use ALL PLASTIC where metal was used for my regular totes umbrella. It has a good finish and looks good but my first impression is that something is about to break. I'd happily pay a few bucks more or whatever it takes to get something really durable, but most people just look at the price. really good job at protecting your upper body from the sweltering heat and UV rays while walking. Now I can go outside at 2pm in full sunshine and exercise without sunscreen or a wide-brimmed hat. The only part of my body it doesn't cover are my shins. This umbrella only provides enough protection for one person. Two humans? You have to share it one by one. I don't think it adequately covers two people at a time. It's lightweight and the storage box it comes in is a nice touch to keep your hands free so you don't have to carry it around but still need to have it with you. One thing to be careful about is the wind. Because it's made of many plastic parts, be careful that the wind doesn't blow it inside out. The main shaft or stem that the umbrella is built around appears to be aluminum but it could also be plastic but I'm not sure.
