Don't put too much stock in bad reviews. Most sound like the customer didn't transfer the chip from the old key box. If you don't transfer the chip, your car will start but won't start. You can verify with the old key. If it starts with the old key, you haven't completed the process. I took this key to the local security company and they cut me a $5 key. The best part about this replacement is that the buttons are slightly recessed into the case, making it less likely that my loose change will hit the panic button and the car alarm will go off unexpectedly.
