These pads are the same as what RockAuto sells and are about 20 cents less. Revane's return policy was decisive. They are ceramic rather than semi-metal but I see no difference in initial bite. However, my main reason for choosing ceramic is that it doesn't generate brake dust and it feels lighter on the rotors - less severe abrasion.
