Although the product description says this bed is larger, it measures approximately 15 x 13 inches inside. This is a good size for a small dog. It feels very soft and its bottom and sides are well padded. Cover 100% polyester, filling 100% polyester fiber. The sides and interior feel velvety. The bottom is more silky and has small bumps which I think are to prevent slipping. I haven't washed it but the label says it can be machine washed separately in cold water on a gentle cycle and tumble dried on a low setting. Made in China. I have two dogs. My 45 pound wheat bounced on this bed when I set it on the floor and tried to curl up in it. It was pretty funny. After about 5 minutes she came out and my 20lb Scotty jumped in. She just fit in but curled up and looked content.
