Built in key cannot be removed

The description indicates this is a replacement for broken covers but there is no way to remove the part of the key that comes with it becomes. I have a function key and electronic innards and thought it might be perfect, put the electronics in, replace the key. Not really. So I'm going back but leaving this review here for others to know. In addition, it comes with a button replacement and a body replacement, as well as a built-in key. Also comes with fake buttons, 2 trunk release buttons, 1 alarm button and 1 lock button :/
