This is a fabulous brush! It is my favorite and I already ordered another. It actually does cut down on the static (don't know how it does this). It's bit smaller size than the normal brush but that's what, in my opinion, makes it better. It is just very slightly angled and that adds to its greatness. I know this sounds odd, but I haven't been this excited about a hair brush ever. I blow dry my just past the shoulders hair and use a flat iron to smooth and straighten. If you are coordinated or have shorter hair I believe this brush would really help lift hair during the blow drying process and add body and volume. I prefer to bend over upside down while I blow dry, so I only use the brush a little during that process. But, I'm brushing my longer, straight hair many times a day so I keep these two I purchased in different areas of the house and car.
