Def a good sound for the price. I too bought this from TJ Maxx 35% cheaper than I've seen it elsewhere.It appears this unit comes in 2 different models, each with their own features. The features listed here are different from the ones listed on the box shown in the picture. The box says 8 hrs of operation while the listing says 10.The 8 hr version also has an FM radio while the picture of the actual unit does not. The 10 hr version has a phone function to alert and answer calls. Make sure you know what you're getting before your purchase.I have the 10 hr version which has a very competitive sound. With its frequency range, you won't want for bass response and the usable volume is very adequate. The frequency range is decently balanced. I'm sure you can alter that with equalization from your music source.
