Last June, one of our preschool topics of the month was Pete the Cat. It was each student's turn to bring Pete, the cat doll, home in the bed I had made for the night. I also sent the students home a camera and notebook to document Pete's adventures with his family. Pete had several adventures: going to a baseball game, the movies, playing outside, visiting his grandmother, and going out to dinner with his family. After collecting all the photos, drawings and stories, I put the information into a book. Everyone got the true story of Pete's adventures with his families. This task was not only a lot of fun, but also a complete success :)
