Review on 🍵 Classic Stainless Steel Tea Kettle: Whistling Teakettle with Heat-Resistant Folding Handle, 2L Capacity by Jon Larjin

I read a lot of good reviews about this product when I was looking for a budget kettle so I figured you better give it a try one try. Love the way it looks and it works great for boiling water (like any container you light) but other than that I was disappointed. The first time I used it, I put it on the stove and waited for the whistle. let me know that the water has boiled. However, after waiting much longer than I should have and not hearing a sound, I went over and removed the lid to see the water boiling. In doing so I found that the handle got insanely hot and I had to use a cloth to open it. Having to open the lid every time to see if the water is boiling is a real hassle, especially since the lid and handle get way hotter than they should. I'll probably look elsewhere for (and find) a cheaper kettle that suits me better. ***UPDATE*** I sent the kettle back and after 6 months the seller contacted me and finally sent me a new version of the kettle. Kettle for free. I was happy with the changes made as I now hear an audible whistle when the water boils. The handle gets a little warm for my taste, but not bad. Otherwise I like the look and it seems to be holding up well. I value good customer service.
