Review on Disposal Garbage Strainer Kitchen 10051 by Christopher Cortez

I have Waste King Recycler - Model 9950. Yes, Danco Disposal Genie will fit this Waste King with no modifications. I love recycling my Waste King. He really chews through everything. The only thing I don't like about this product is the black fender. Almost immediately after installation, the fender deformed, causing the petal portions of the fender to tilt up instead of down. This basically allows water and harder objects (like lemon and orange peels) to splash into your sink or onto your face, depending on where you're standing. I've included an image so you can better understand my predicament. I can't replace the black fender on my model without removing the waste pipe from disposal (which is annoying). For a year now I've been holding my hand or kitchen sponge over the drain so it doesn't splash, but that's not very hygienic. I was delighted to learn about Danco's product at Revain. It fits and prevents splatter (even on the lemon peel) allowing water to drain easily. The Danco product is very durable and well made and now I don't have to worry about water splashing on my glasses. I ordered the blue Disposal Genie and it is a beautiful blue with touches of turquoise.
