The product tolerates moisture and sunlight very well. Tried to check the pH and the planter only filled with wet Canadian sphagnum peat moss (since it says CLEAR NOT TO USE FOR LIQUIDS). After 10 minutes in the moss, the pH value of 8 had not changed. The CANADIAN Magnum peat moss is the only Pete to lose pH from 4.5 to 5. Obviously the pH meter is not accurate. Call your local consulting office to test soil pH for a small fee (e.g. $20). They go down and get dirty with the kids. The amount of minerals, pH, soil type. In addition, the extension office employee can recommend soil changes if necessary, depending on what you plan to plant.
