Review on 🔑 KeylessOption IYZ3312 Replacement Keyless Entry Car Remote Shell with Button Pad, Battery Clip by Timothy Barnes

I am glad this replacement key has worked for others but in case you are trying to change the key on a 2001 E320 sedan this product will not work. I removed the panel after watching a few YouTube videos and it was pretty easy. However, my original key fob's control board did not match this product. I was able to insert it, but the board wouldn't click into place. I've tried reinstalling it multiple times but no luck. I even tried inserting a battery clip (thought it would help secure the board in place) but the battery clip didn't fit the control board. Obviously the circuit board was not installed correctly. I went back and watched the video again and tried a few more times but still no luck. The control panel just didn't fit when I attached it. Unfortunately when I reassembled my old key fob it stopped working so I must have damaged the control board in the process. I knew before I bought it it might not work but this was my last chance before going to the dealer. . My key has already broken and I have already replaced the batteries. It's possible that my control board was already partially damaged (i.e. didn't work properly initially), but it still didn't fit this product. FYI, the dealer quoted cost for a key fob is $333 plus tax plus $90 for programming.
