This TS100 Mini Soldering Iron comes with a power supply, a basic sponge and soldering iron stand and some basic instructions to get you started. Although I was barely immersed in programming when it came to this little guy, he did an excellent job with a few small tasks I've given him so far. Obviously this is not what you will be using as your main soldering iron. It's better for things where convenience is key. But it works fine. Heats up quickly and accurately while maintaining peak temperature. The kit includes a standard conical tip. Not my favorite but that always comes with all the soldering irons I've used. I would recommend a true chisel point for optimal performance and versatility, especially with this nimble little creature. The OLED display is easy to read. The user interface isn't the most intuitive thing in the world, but it can be figured out without a manual if you're determined (i.e. stubborn) like me. Tons of information on the web about how to program this thing and what else it can do. It's pretty light and that's the only thing I don't care. I prefer the soldering iron to be a bit heavier in my hand, or maybe I'm just used to it. I personally prefer the TS80p soldering iron to this one, but that's just preference and no relationship with one person is better than another. However, the TS80p is about a third smaller and I like the weight distribution better. Also, unlike the TS100, the TS80p can be powered with anything that allows you to plug a USB cable into it as it has a USB-C connector. This means any power bank or portable charger can be used to provide the 20W needed to run the iron, while the TS100 uses a standard DC plug and power adapter instead. They're both very similar in form and function, as well as price, so I thought I'd mention it just in case you hesitate.
