Review on CHUWI CoreBook Processor Keyboard Lightweight by Jay Jeong

You will like it 😄

I really like this laptop. I upgraded the internal SSD to SSD Samsung 860 SATA with fast technology enabled with Samsung Magician software. Significantly improved performance. The second slot also supports M.2 NVMe, but only at PCI Express 3.0 x4 speeds. For this slot I used a Samsung 970 NVMe SSD. The first slot only supports SATA, which can only be accessed by removing the entire back cover. The second slot supports SATA or NVMe. Keep this in mind when buying discs! I recommend installing the Samsung NVMe driver from their website. The NVMe drive in the first slot is not recognized in the BIOS. To enter the BIOS, press the ESC key several times after holding the power button to turn on the laptop. The processor supports VT-x, so running virtual machines with hardware virtualization is great. VirtualBox and LDplayer work fine. Came with Windows 10 1909 installed. I upgraded to Pro and then used the Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant to manually upgrade to 20H2. No problem. The main games work well and Call of Duty Mobile runs pretty well on LDplayer. Also ideal as a travel laptop. You can't go wrong with 16GB of RAM at this price point. I also appreciate the quality of the screen glass. It's reflective, but the 2k resolution looks very sharp on the display. The laptop fan runs at around 43-48c. Brought to 75C and no problems. The floor gets very hot. The fan noise could be quieter. It has a certain squeak that I wish it was quieter under sustained load. Touchpad clicks are quite loud. I recommend just touching the touchpad. I have an external mouse for faster multitasking and light gaming. All current drivers can be manually downloaded from the Microsoft Update Catalog by searching for the hardware ID. I really enjoy using this laptop. I like what he does for the price 😁
