This product is listed, advertised and sold as a Cat6 High Speed Flat Cable and it literally does so. All other higher-end Cat5e and Cat6 products mention 24 AWG PoE (Power over Ethernet) at the end of a long list of identical features, but due to the small size of the 30 AWG cable, this option cannot power the device via the Network. at the other end, especially at 150 feet. So the good news is that I was able to reconfigure my security cameras with a narrow cable by moving the remote router much farther and using the better and shorter cable I had for the PoE section to the antenna. It works well, only had to splurge in the afternoon due to the lower quality of the $25 part. Sorry but it's too expensive to ship back and it takes a long time to order a new one to Hawaii.
