While I wouldn't call it the perfect DVD drive, it does most of what I need. Given the price, I can't complain. It's truly plug and play right out of the box. DVD burns perfectly. It's very easy. So much so that it takes two hands to insert a disc and close the tray. One hand holds the disc motionless while the other closes the tray. Otherwise, the drive simply pushes the table. Although I like that it's small and maneuverable. It is easy to store away when not in use as it takes up very little space. This is a great drive for the price. I didn't have unrealistic expectations when I bought it and I'm happy with the performance so far. I would recommend but don't expect perfection. If you want high quality with bells and whistles pay more and look elsewhere. If you're just looking for an inexpensive drive that comes ready to use and requires no instructions, this is a good choice.
