Thorny Path. on skates, skateboards and scooters

After reading many reviews I had high hopes for this scooter. Unfortunately the one I got feels like it's constantly hitting bumps, it doesn't run smoothly. I have a feeling that something is wrong with the rear wheels. I have another scooter for my other child (actually a cheaper one) and it rides absolutely smoothly on the same floor. Maybe we have a lemon?. On the plus side, the scooter looks pretty sturdy and of good quality. I'll keep it to avoid the hassle of sending it back, but I'm not thrilled with it and don't recommend it.
