Review on XtremepowerUS Torque Wrench: Efficient Labor-Saving Lug Nut Wrench with Torque Multiplier and Cr-v Socket (Includes 8pc Socket Set) by Andrew Britton

Works great with Class 8 truck nuts.

I've always seen these things online but never used them. I'm a diesel technician doing some extra work. I haven't done heavy truck brakes before because I didn't have a gas air compressor yet, so I couldn't safely loosen nuts on heavy trucks. A good client wanted me to do brakes on his truck so I decided to pull the trigger on one of them. Open the box, put a 33mm head and grip on it. After a few full turns, the nuts were loose enough that my 1/2" stun gun unscrewed them quite easily. I did the brakes, put the nuts on and tightened them with a torque wrench. This was on a full size Kenworth tractor trailer. Pays for itself the first time you use it. I'll never have to forgo brake work again because I can't loosen the nuts.

Pros
  • Easy to use - remove caps from nut and fit correct bushing onto nut; Connect an adjustable wrench to the socket, and fix the spacer bar to the wheel hub or the adjacent nut to ensure stable operation and leverage; Attach the handle and turn the nut in the desired direction. The extension helps to quickly remove the nut after loosening. Use square head for square studs
Cons
  • Long delivery time
